長篠の戦い
信長は鉄砲を有効に使って長篠の戦いに勝利した。
楽市楽座
信長が実施した楽市楽座という政策によって、商業が発展した。
市場の税を免除し、座の特権を廃止することによって、自由な商業が可能になった。

太閤検地
全国の田畑の広さを調べ、収穫量を石高で統一。
農民を支配し年貢（税金）をしっかりと徴収した。
刀狩り
農民の一揆（反乱）を防ぎ、農業に専念させるため、農民や寺院から武器を取り上げた。
兵農分離
太閤検地や刀狩りによって、武士と農民の身分の区別が明確化された。
【桃山文化】安土桃山時代
戦国大名の気風や、南蛮文化の影響を受けて、安土桃山時代は豪華で雄大な文化が流行しました。
天守閣を持つ豪華絢爛な城や障壁画（狩野永徳）が有名です。
千利休が茶道の作法を完成させました。
